WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 12, 2025 – Virtru, the leader in data-centric security, today announced that Don Yeske, Senior Solutions Architect & Enablement Lead, has been named to the 2025 HSToday 50 Trailblazers list, which honors individuals in both public- and private-sector roles innovating and advancing security missions.

Yeske, who recently joined Virtru following a distinguished career at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Department of the Navy, has been recognized for his leadership in Zero Trust implementation and modernization initiatives critical to national security. At DHS, he most recently served as Director of the National Security Cyber Division in the Office of the Chief Information Security Officer, where he oversaw governance of National Security Systems and spearheaded enterprise-wide Zero Trust adoption.

At Virtru, Yeske assists federal agencies that must secure sensitive data as it travels through their on-premises, cloud-native, and AI-driven workflows.

“It’s an honor to be included on this list,” said Yeske. “While I have transitioned to the private sector with my role at Virtru, I’m still dedicated to the mission and excited to help federal agencies from a different position.”

Now in its fourth year, the HSToday 50 Trailblazers program is published by HSToday in partnership with the Government Technology & Services Coalition.
