*Data-Centric Security Leader Adds Experienced Executive to C-Suite to Foster High-Growth, High-Performing Teams *

WASHINGTON, D.C. — May 7, 2026 — Virtru, the leader in data-centric security, today announced the appointment of Jen Swensson as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Swensson will lead Virtru's global people strategy as the company scales to meet growing demand for its Data Security Platform.

Swensson brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership in the technology sector, with deep expertise in high-growth, private equity-backed companies. Most recently, she served as CHRO at Casepoint, a Thoma Bravo-backed leader in legal discovery technology. Prior to that, she served as Chief People Officer at Deepwatch, Inc., a Goldman Sachs-backed cybersecurity platform, where she built the people function from the ground up and cultivated a remote-first, employee-first culture.

"It wasn’t a hard decision to join Virtru at this time. The company is firing on all cylinders with accelerating growth, which means the workforce is expanding as well,” said Swensson. “There is already a world-class team here and I’m thrilled to continue building it out in conjunction with Virtru’s expanding customer base.”

Swensson was recognized as a Top HR Executive to Watch by WashingtonExec in 2024 and is a two-time recipient of the DCA LIVE HR Leader Award.
