 WASHINGTON–(Marketwired)– The Sony Pictures Entertainment hack and email leak is a cautionary tale for any business or individual with high-value intellectual property or company secrets to protect. The now historic security breach highlights the inherent vulnerabilities of email communication and how an email hack can cost a company more than its reputation. Early estimates predict losses of hundreds of millions resulting from the leak of personal and employee information, business plans, unreleased movies and other confidential and proprietary studio information.
