 WASHINGTON–(Marketwired)– [Virtru](https://www.virtru.com/), the digital privacy company dedicated to making it easy for everyone to keep their private communications private, today announced its presence at the 5th annual Privacy Identity Innovation conference,  [pii2014 Silicon Valley](https://www.privacyidentityinnovation.com/events/pii2014-sillicon-valley), Nov. 12-14 at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Palo Alto, Calif. The company is one of only eight startups invited to demo its technologies on stage as part of the Innovator Spotlight program.

The pii2014 conference brings together leading experts and innovators involved in the personal information economy to explore where innovation is heading and what it means for the future of privacy and identity. Virtru CEO John Ackerly will give a five-minute presentation entitled “Democratizing Email Privacy” on the morning of Nov. 12 and conference attendees will have a chance to vote for the Audience Choice Award. Virtru will also demonstrate its simple email privacy solution for individuals and businesses during the Technology Showcase on Nov. 13.
