Virtru’s Latest SOC 2 Assessment Report: Now Available
Compliance is critical to our customer’s business success. From FedRAMP authorization to System and Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 assessments, Virtru’s commitment to data protection and compliance are continually validated through third-party, independent industry standards and assessments. We are pleased to announce our latest SOC 2 Type 2 assessment report is now available to provide assurance to our customers and prospects that system and service security commitments are operating effectively.
The SOC 2 reporting framework from the American Institute of CPA (AICPA) is an industry standard that assesses the security practices and controls pertaining to the availability, process integrity and confidentiality of data. Importantly, the SOC 2 audit report offers a concrete way for Virtru to demonstrate and provide detailed information about the controls we implement to allow customers to confidently secure their most private data with the Virtru Data Security Platform.
Since our last SOC 2 Type 2 assessment, we’ve made a number of exciting product releases and announcements including the launch of our SDKs and Developer Hub and Single-Sign On support. Throughout all of this change, our teams have remained diligent in following and continuously improving upon our rigorous security practices. We have implemented more monitoring procedures, enforced stronger access and authentication controls, and tuned our change management processes to harden our overall security.
Our latest SOC 2 Type 2 assessment report is now available, covering the period of March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020. The assessment was conducted by Schellman and Company, an independent assessment firm. We are proud to say that no exceptions were reported.
If you are interested in reviewing the SOC 2 report, please reach out to your account manager or contact us for more information.
