It's official! Based on authentic customer reviews, Virtru has once again been named to the [2024 G2 Best Software Awards](https://www.g2.com/best-software-companies) list in the Security Products category. Virtru was also named to the list in 2022 and 2023.

### "Keeps My Students' Information Safe" - Reviews of Virtru for Cybersecurity in Education

Kylee L., who works for a midsize organization, wrote a review titled "Virtru keeps my students' information safe." In her thoughtful review, she writes, "Virtru helps me and my colleagues know when an email contains student personal information that is meant to remain confidential and private." 

Another reviewer also works in primary and secondary education, and notes that Virtru helps them keep test data confidential. "Prior to my district adopting Virtru, I could not communicate much information via email to my test coordinators at all of our schools due to the confidentiality required. It has made communication much easier and less time-consuming."

### "A Much-Needed Service to Protect Health Information" - Reviews of Virtru for Healthcare Data Management

Lauren L. works for a midmarket-size healthcare organization, and she writes that Virtru "provides a much-needed service to protect health information/personal details in modern times... Virtru is allowing me to send PHI about participants in stated Medicaid Home and Community-Based waivers virtually and to perform my job functions on a daily basis." 

Virtru is an "amazing service for our plastic surgery practice," another G2 user writes. "It is very easy to integrate this software into your current patient communication. It turned our regular email into a safe, HIPAA-compliant method of speaking with patients. There are great tools such as unsend, retracting information, and a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to organize the office."

### "This Tool Is Incredibly Simple for Our Users." -Reviews of Virtru for Banking Cybersecurity Regulations

A Virtru customer in the banking and finance industry highlights Virtru's role in their data security and risk management strategy: "The biggest problem we face is the sharing of confidential information with authorized third parties and then those third parties becoming compromised," the user writes. "With Virtru we can revoke access after the data has been shared, reducing our risk exposure to third party business email compromises. The tool is incredibly simple for our users. All they have to do is click a toggle button to protect what they are sending. Other tools required that the user remember a particular hash tag for the traffic to be protected. I also find it helpful that the tool can identify and protect sensitive information that the user may have forgotten to protect." 

We hear this from our banking and finance customers often: A customer-facing encryption tool *must* be easy to use in order to be effective and widely adopted. If it's not easy to use, it's not going to be sustainable.
